Clients reviews about Proflow Plumbing Heating Gas

If I can give Proflow and Paul 6 stars I would. Paul saved my home more times than I could count. He helped us install our appliance, diagnose plumbing issues, repair the water heating system, the list goes on. Other than electricity, he can work with most other systems in the home - plumbing, gas, heating, HVAC. He’s responsive, honest and most important a good person. He will not charge you for things he cannot fix or suggest unnecessary services. Working with him has been a straightforward and stressfree experience. He would even skip meals with his family to attend to home emergencies when we called. Paul if you’re reading this, please know that we’re so lucky to have you and your skillsets in our community. Wishing you a lot of good health and take pride in your work! - Emily ~ Emily N

~ Linh N

We have used Paul for our home plumbing needs for the last 2 year. He had come to retrofit and replace our old copper piles with Pex when we had a basement reno. He's helped us again to replace an old sewer line in our front yard and caused minimal damage to our landscaping/retaining wall. This year, he helped us promptly when we needed to replace our hot water tank. He gave me options and we decided to go ahead with tankless water heater to free up more space in our laundry room. Work was done efficiently and consistently at prices he quotes us. We will definitely use Paul again in future for our home plumbing needs. He is professional and straightforward to work with. Highly recommend him! ~ Debby T

Paul did an incredible job by showing up to our house as soon as possible, when we really needed escape from a terrible apartment flooding situation. Not only did he help vacuum out the water, he also fixed the leakage completely, changed the pipe situation so that the same issue doesn’t occur again, and installed our new washer-dryer unit. He came back the next day by taking time out of his vacation/festival, and ensured that all details are working properly, he also unclogged our toilet. He had also provided us information about the quality and types of the pipes and where the valve shut off of the unit is, which is what helped us from further damage during the flooding. ~ Olivia C

~ Timmy S

I’m so happy I called Paul from Proflow. He was so prompt, able to come out within an hour on a Saturday morning. He explained what he was doing, and what the cost would be in advance. He was at my house within the hour, (he lives in East Vancouver, and I in New Westminster). He was polite and offered plenty of advice to avoid the same problem down the road. He was even going to fix my tub at no extra charge. As it was he didn’t need to, but that fact that he offered was so kind. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone with plumbing issues. Also, he charged $70.00 less than a plumbing franchise was going to charge. ~ August W

This morning, we discovered that our house water heater tank was leaking. I left a message for Paul to see if he could come take a look, and he responded almost immediately, saying he’d come by before noon. True to his word, he arrived around 11:00 AM, quickly confirmed the tank was leaking, and headed straight to the shop to get a replacement. He returned shortly after and had the new tank installed within an hour. Paul was incredibly professional, responsive, and efficient. His service was top-notch from start to finish. With that level of dedication and expertise, he definitely deserves a 5-star rating. Highly recommend! ~ Hong M

Paul is a very experienced plumbing and heating professional. He used drainage camera to identify accurately the location of my broken underground drainage. The follow-up repair work was done professionally in coordination with other sub-contractors in a timely manner. He also upgraded the sump pump with alarm to improve resilience of my house drainage system. The cost of these repairs was reasonable. On another occasion, Paul serviced the high efficiency boiler in my home and recitified the problem quickly. I highly recommend his service. ~ Daniel C

The only plumber I trust. Paul fixed up my toilets when I moved to my townhouse. He is very knowledgeable and has great service. Update 2024-03-04 - Paul just came by and cleared my kitchen sink clog that involved a shared pipe in my strata complex. He did a perfect job and only took 20 mins. Couple years ago the strata sent their chosen plumbing company to do the same job but they took hours, taking forever to get their drain snake down the correct path. Paul found the correct path in minutes and even replaced a section of my pipe with a piece that will provide easier access going forward. ~ Howard P

My kitchen drain got completely clogged. I spent two days in the crawl space trying different methods and chemicals, but nothing worked. Paul and his wife came over to help, and he was able to clear the drain in about 20 minutes. On top of that, Paul improved the existing kitchen sink piping to make it much easier to service in the future, and he did that at no extra charge. I really appreciate his service and the fact that he runs a local business rather than a big company charging by the hour. Great service, fair approach, and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend. Cam oi anh Paul 🙏 ~ Colin D

I had a plumbing emergency: a burst pipe from the cold weather on a Saturday night. Worse, the pipe was buried in a wall, so not evident. But the water was evident, and in significant volume, flowing into into my tenant's suite. Paul diagnosed the problem, explained his solution to me, and the problem was fixed in under an hour. He was brilliant. Over the course of an hour's worth of explanations, I also picked up on Paul's personality. He is 100% trustworthy. He earned every star of my five star review. ~ Hugh L

Paul was super professional and was actually super busy but took the time to prioritize us given our dire situation. Paul came in, saw what the problem was and immediately fixed the issue quick and professionally. I don’t know why he wasn’t shown on google during my plumber search but I would HIGHLY recommend Paul!! Also took the time to let us inspect the finished product and to give us best practices to maintain our stuff. Excellent experience 5* ~ Norman T

Very professional and punctual. My hot water tank stopped working and they came and repaired it the same evening. The technician diagnosed the boiler pump, and had taken the time to explain what had broken and what was required to repair it when I asked. Company friendly technician did a great professional job on premise, and it is warm in my house again. My furnace is now working smoothly. Thank you for the great customer services experience and the excellent work. Definitely would recommend! ~ S. T

I have known Paul for years and I have called him for jobs in my house, my kids’ house and for my clients too. There was no call that he didnt come to my rescue, be it a regular working day or holiday. An emergency call is treated as such whether its holiday or not and he would charge fairly. He is like a “super mario” fixing stuff for me and he is very reliable. I would definitely recommend this hardworking and efficient guy and will always refer him to my clients. ~ Bje T

I had the most satisfying experience with Proflow Plumbing and highly recommend their services. Paul is the boss and he is very knowledgeable. My boiler broke down, I am so glad I found Paul to have the broken parts replaced. He is professional, efficient, friendly and has great quality work at reasonable prices. All parts of the job were covered very well. His ability to adapt to clients' needs was incredible and I will definitely hire him again in the future. ~ Julius C

Had my first experience of a “toddler blockage” in our toilet! I had a feeling our toddler threw something in our toilet just wasn’t sure what. Luckily I called Paul and he made a trip from Vancouver to Surrey, same day! He was really quick and efficient and he understands the woes of parenthood and he also has very reasonable pricing. We can happily use our toilet again and if our child ever happens to throw something in our toilet again we will definitely be calling Paul. ~ Kris G

This review is long overdue, our water tank started making some noises a month after purchasing our place last summer. Paul was highly recommended to us and I'm glad we avail his services. We live in South Surrey so just the commute to come and check our tank is already appreciated. It was a few sleepless nights as the noise was getting louder, I'm glad Paul was able to identify and resolved our issues immediately. #local guide #604 ~ Gestler M

Winter Is Coming! Our house needed to replace our furnace since it was almost 20 years old. Paul and his team were responsive and fast to install our new natural gas high-efficiency furnace + 2 smart thermostats. The job was completed in less than a day. Overall, the experience with Paul was great: professional, fast, and good bang for the buck! Bonus: Paul can speak both English and Vietnamese, and he is a local business owner. ~ Ryan V

Paul provides excellent service! We've used him several times to install a natural gas line for our fire pit and BBQ, and installed a new furnace. He is quick to respond to any service calls and does not try to upsell me in any service or product (unlike the other guys). Proflow is our number #1 place we'd go to for any plumbing, heating and gas needs. We highly recommend them 👍👍 ~ Alex P
